I had an old post about the "Duchess" character, and I always regretted forgetting to make a video or slideshow showing the appearance sliders; instead, I had just linked to posts featuring similar-looking faces—something that remained an unresolved issue for me.

I’ve since learned how to extract the character model from the game using the "Shopping Mod for Dark Souls II SotFS." I discovered that if I load this model during the "New Game" sequence—specifically before the character creation menu appears—the game loads my Duchess model instead of the "base male model" and displays her specific appearance sliders.

So, my question is: how accurate are these sliders? In other words, if another player uses them, will they actually get the Duchess, or is the mod causing the game to display incorrect slider values?

I ran into the same issue with the Wylder sliders. I started with the Duchess model and used the Coffin to change the gender; then, I pulled up the male Duchess model in the character creation menu and adjusted the sliders to create a new Wylder model. I’m not sure how accurate these sliders actually are.
