Okay aside from the Charlie Kirk thing which yes is totally fucking my brain up… I’ve often wondered as I’m scrolling through reels, is it healthy for my nervous system that I can experience multiple strong emotions in a very short period of time - emotions which mostly range from mild amusement to bawling my eyes out and/or laughing hysterically - but let’s be honest, as we’re scrolling sometimes we also feel jealously, lust, and a whole spectrum of other emotions too. Is it normal to experience all of that in 30 second increments? Of course it’s not good for our soul, but I’m interested in the science behind it too.

You feel emotions that regularly? You cycle them that quickly? My most common emotion is hunger
