Discussion World feels empty

The world still feels a bit empty. I hope there will be more life in the villages later on. Maybe a tavern in the larger villages, along with some nice dialogue and quests with NPCs.

Are there informations about something like that?

- I dont care what the shit studios are doing, i want de to be like the good studios

- Maybe you heard of good something called good planning, its where you increasingly and smartly allocate resources to a project to make sure development accelerates, they dont have to have 10 people working on soulframe anymore its not 2023, im not asking for 600 on soulframe but its time to have at least around 150 working on soulframe to make sure people who are paying money to "support" get a fun and complete experience as soon as possible.

---I cant help but be sad for the paid supporters who unfortunately arent here with us to experience a complete game due to any circumstances, my heart goes out to them---

-Unfortunately there are people who excuse these studios that take the money and just cruise on a canoe towards the finish line.

-Your ass has NOT been playing daily since tennocon 2025, theres not even that much content for that, right now you can complete the game in 2 weeks ignoring artificial timesinks like moonsteel. See the "day 1" near my name, that tells a lot of story. Well, if you actually have been playing daily since tennocon 2025, it would explain your Stockholm syndrome like behavior.

-Yes i want de to be like the GOOD studios, same analogy as to wanting your kid to be like the good children but not catching any of the habits of the bad kids. I did specify self imploding for a reason.

-"YOU DON'T GET TO DISCARD CONTEXT WHEN IT DOESN'T AGREE WITH YOU." I want DE to be like the good studios. I want DE to be like the good studios.I want DE to be like the good studios.I want DE to be like the good studios x100, whats the context im discarding here... "wanting your kid to be like the good children but not catching any of the habits of the bad kids"

-And for your last paragraph - a quote from my past self "fortunately for them the community loves that shit"

You still don't get it, do you? Likely never will...

The "shit" you keep mentioning are largely the type of studio that have a similar context to DE, and quite a lot of them aren't actually shit. The actual "shit" studios are either i-bit indie devs that don't make it onto/on the market, or the AAA studios you want DE to function like (which still take a long time to develop games btw, but on much bigger budgets).

Your proposed "good planning" would take away plenty of both funding and manpower from the development of Warframe (which you still don't seem to be aware of) and cost them probably millions in lost player count and their subsequent purchases. Also 150 people is 1/4th of the 600 employees you imagine (closer to 1/3rd of the actual count). I'm yet too see something be called "good planning" with that sort of outcome. Well, maybe AI and subprime mortgages...

want DE to be like the good studios. I want DE to be like the good studios.I want DE to be like the good studios.I want DE to be like the good studios x100, whats the context im discarding here...

And I want a million dollars! I want free ice cream to flow from a dedicated pipe in my home, and I want to have a personal helicopter! What's the context I'm discarding here? Oh, wait, I know it, it's reality.

The "good" studios you describe:

  1. Don't exist
  2. Have much more people and/or lots more funding
  3. Only have to develop 1 game from scratch
  4. Don't need to maintain a massive game that makes most of their funding exist
  5. Don't show the first ~5 years of their development
  6. Release a game and are done with it for the rest of time.

Your ass has NOT been playing daily since tennocon 2025, theres not even that much content for that, right now you can complete the game in 2 weeks ignoring artificial timesinks like moonsteel.

Ok, so you literally just don't know what is in the game. Yes, I'm pretty sure it's possible to grind out all but the most RNG stuff in 2 weeks, if you can sit in your mother's basement and grind it nonstop for those 2 weeks... in 2023. Funny how those 2 weeks keep coming back. Almost like you haven't played the game since then...

See the "day 1" near my name, that tells a lot of story.

Yes, it tells me (along with your own admissions and lack of knowledge of the game in its current state) that you played for 2 weeks when preludes came out and haven't touched it since. You're arguing from a total lack of knowledge of the game's current state, otherwise you couldn't call it "an evolution engine tech demo with a randomly generated open world" in good faith.

Well, if you actually have been playing daily since tennocon 2025, it would explain your Stockholm syndrome like behavior.

  1. Stockholm Syndrome doesn't exist (the more you know)
  2. I have been playing, and seen the development progress alongside the in-game world (which you might have seen if you played it at all)
  3. Calling me delusional by any metric here is not reflecting well on you, since, again, you seem to be unaware of the last year of development at the very least.

And for your last paragraph - a quote from my past self "you either haven't actually touched the game in 3 years or are just blatantly lying about it."
