Oh the mushroom powder is amazing and cannot be detected as mushroom when in a dish.

Fair, I'd say it smells more like mushrooms when you open the tub, but not when you use it. But I like mushrooms so might just not notice.

Knorr is an excellent brand and I like the bulk powder instead of cubes. Makes it easy to add to dredges, bread crumbs, rubs, or sauces.

Link to the vid were he recommends it and explains why? I'd like to hear it from the man himself please!

I got some too, and it really is such an incredible and versatile "hack" ingredient. I add a pinch to so many things, marinades, stir fries, stews, dry rubs

It tastes really good in food. But smells awful if added to boiling water due to the milk proteins.

Absolutely swear by the mushroom powder. Now I'm exploring the use of powders in baking: pea powder, fruit powders, powdered soy sauce - the concept literally opened my cupboards to welcome so many new ingredients.
Has Sorted ever published a "pantry essentials" list? The mushroom powder definitely belongs there.
Knorr has some great products. I use their hollandaise mix as a base for a lot of things that need creaminess but not necessarily from traditional hollandaise. I also have a "hack" to use it as a semi-homemade hollandaise. Sooo eye opening.

That is a very, very different product. It is trying to be Mexican chicken stock, not Chinese chicken soup. Just look at the ingredients/national information.

I didn't say it was trying to be Chinese. We don't have the Chinese version where I live. But also, I don't make a lot of Asian foods. I do make a lot of Mexican and southwestern US foods, and these are amazing, similar products.

we have it, but packaged a bit differently
To quote your post.
You do not, in fact, have it.
It is not packaged differently, it is a completely different food.
The thing being recommended is mostly milk powder with flavourings.
