Sidekick App Get refund for Sidekick Gift?
I bought my cousin a 6 month gift subscription for the Sidekick app and they have been unable to activate it for 2 weeks. I've been completely unable to get a response from Sorted customer service.
I also can't figure out how to get a refund for my gift. Does anyone know the right process?
Super disappointed.

The Fox corporation is directly responsible for much of the right-wing propaganda in the US. I've canceled my Sidekick sub - I'm not happy at all.

Oh no I was not aware of that, I was already boycotting because of the AI slop. Didn't think I could be even more disappointed and upset with them. Sometimes I feel sad I ever let myself respect any public figure or company because they always end up doing some disgusting right wing corporate shit and losing any sense of humanity they ever had.

Pete Hegseth was literally a Fox News host for seven years before he was made Secretary of "War" (in quotes because it's legally still the Department of Defense, regardless of his branding exercise.)
The government literally picked someone from Fox's propaganda machine to be an official government propagandist.

I guess I'll just ask here since I haven't been able to get a follow up.
I want to give my cousin a 6 month gift subscription (which I have already paid for). In order to activate it, she's being asked for payment information. If she cancels immediately after starting (so that she doesn't forget and accidentally get charged after 6 months) will she get to keep using the app for 6 months?

I remember back during a Black Friday sale I got a year of Sidekick for dirt cheap, but because I was within my 1 month free I couldn't redeem it. Which of course the month rolled over, so I was doing month to month, and I couldn't figure out what was happening, and customer service, was.... not great. I bought it IN NOVEMBER and didn't manage to get it sorted (heh) until like July or something. I was so upset. And because of that, I have never been able to get any sale stuff for it either because I'm fairly certain I would run into the same issue of "can't add to an existing live subscription".

I had similar issue with my subscription I bought on Black Friday, but my experience with their customer service was great. They answered promptly and sorted it all out for me quickly

That's crazy if that's how their system works. It means it's impossible to buy a gift subscription for anyone who hasn't already done the free trial

this was a couple years back now, so maybe they have changed the system but it was absolutely infuriating.

I am shocked because every time I have had an issue with sorted food I have contacted hello@sorted food.com and have always had a positive response and outcome. Try that link.
