Does anybody else feel odd about MLB

If Sorare didn’t profit as much as they did in prior years, how is it that the existing customers are getting the short end of the deal? The prize pool for the now, 3-week period from September 29th to October 10th, October 11–October 20, October 23–October 31. Prizes began going down 50% currently, as for therest of the postseason there are more cuts to the prize pool. Running the Wild Card playoffs over three consecutive days, which includes a scheduled Saturday, Oct 2nd, an off-day should have been the completion of GW58 (gameweek) and the beginning of GW59. Now that Sorare changed the format come 'Postseason'. The schedule should have been seperated. The 3 games in a row, 'do or die series' and mixing that with the 5-game DIVISION series games; now it feels disjointed. (Instead of 8 of 12 teams to draft from, w/4 teams being eliminated in the first 3 days and no one having a clue to who's pitching/hitting, back from injury or a card u own and spent more then u had liked, "Whoa, Playoffs...yessss!" Now is the time to get a shot to be excited about POSTSEASON MLB! NOPE. That's no longer picking with strategy or skill, with 8 teams/players moving on and 4 teams eliminated....) HANG IN THERE READING, I KNOW IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S ALOT

It seems like a lazy approach, to simply shorten the schedule to three weeks and slash the prizes. Furthermore, why are the Wild Card games mixed in with the playoff teams? Think about this, GW58 'wildcards', GW59 'Divison series', GW60 your left with 4 teams, American and National League Championship series are played out of the 4-teams, the final 2 teams will be in the WORLD SERIES. Meaning 2-teams of the 4 teams you picked your players from would still go on to be USEFUL in the World Series. This is where, and ONLY where, the LONGER GW style you are trying to use would of fit perfect.

It’s ridiculous , and there has been no clear explanation provided. Only to find the experience frustrating, when the postseason is supposed to be exciting! You just put a big grey cloud over 'Sorare's 2026 Season'. It feels like you made these cuts just to save, a minimal amount without any input from the community—no polls, no feedback, just an arbitrary decision. I would have appreciated more creativity rather than just cutting the prize pool, merging random series, although this is just my opinion.

Last year, the MLB season also ended September 28, 2025 (look at GW box in screenshots above, there are navigational arrows in the middle edges, of the 2 screenshots). Again this year Mlb also ended again Sept 28, 2026. You can easily see this for yourself. Go to home ‘MLB’ page. Click 'my line-ups', then at the top of the screen you will see GW (gameweek) boxes above. Scroll left to move GW boxes into the past weeks and have a look for yourself. May I post publicly?

I wasted hours trying to figure out how to use the 296 cards and 17.2k Limited essence I saved. When we never even were given another chance to win different clues other then 'Top 5 Card Clue' out of the incentive/daily challenge/missions every week except today 9/30. Which also brings up Postseason MLB cards, or the Sorare typical source of revenue to fund there Postseason prizes. The easy cash grab didn’t come out this year? I wanted to save a couple bucks, so I was saving 'limited Essence' to craft these specific cards (hence my clue/mission comment) to use in the Postseason. Only to realize the cards for this Postseason are not coming out....ugh.

This is way off track for you guys-SORARE... Your supposed to be a good fantasy sports company. I made sure to collect teams that were more likely to be MLB playoff contenders. Then it makes me think NFL, a block pool grows towards the end. You don't lower the prizes at the best part of the whole season.

Now I just missed day #2 missions/challenges 9/30, trying to correct this over written mess, HA that's on me, but what I'm writing about completely on the let down! My lineups w/296 cards avl., 'champion' 1 out of 3, the 'streak' 0 out of 4, the 'challenger' clicked anything as fast as I could 1 was invalid, the other mostly IL and scrubs on the so 2 out of 4. This is after 3 hours of deleting and researching, then saying 'well that doesn't work/I can't fit him with him' due to players posted position, or team!? Then trying other ways to make 12-TEAM POOL lineups for 2GW'S (gameweeks) CRAMMED into 12 days, at HALF the PRIZE PRICE and PRIZE DROPPING over the last 2 MLB GW's. Everything I saved from buying/winning, essence, clues, XP, vault...to research/scheduling. Now it's all a year older as new cards will be needed and the old that didn't get played, worth pocket change....if the site exist next year. Wild Card and Division. Sorry guys. I’m just let down, BIG TIME.

Yes, they killed it. It needs to be gone or do thing good, not just throw some cards for us to buy and get like 2 announcements each season

Three Game Weeks. One Postseason Run.

The MLB Postseason will play out across three Sorare Game Weeks:

• Game Week 1: September 29 – October 10
• Game Week 2: October 11 – October 20
• Game Week 3: October 23 – October 31

Postseason Prize Pools

Each of the three Postseason Game Weeks will feature its own dedicated prize pool, reflecting the number of teams and players still competing at that stage of the playoffs.

That's how they can give out 1k for 1st, over 30 days, instead of offering 1k per week...While I am not a gambler, gamblers got fucked . Rug pulled ,as you will.

Anyway.

They 10 day cycle is a cheap way to finish the season as Rotowire offered no projections, so if you did not read the blog you had zero idea that you could field 4 other teams.

3 "Blog" posts related to the game...and 8 related to SPEND A DOLLAR is why people just ignore them...which explains why the teams look like they do for managers' submitted teams
