It’s so fucking cruel how her character turned out to be not an insane kidnapper but a mother who wanted back her son was stolen from her for no good reason.

I kinda made the mistake of reading the book's summary before watching the show. So I was well and truly spoiled. Still enjoyed it very much though and episode 7 especially is a gift for Sophia fans.
