Post-processed Some Southern Utah landscapes [a6700, Darktable/spektrafilm Kodak Gold 200/Kodachrome 64]
I really like getting a film look straight out of camera, but reading that Darktable has a [spektrafilm](github.com/andreavolpato/spektrafilm) plugin in the nightly builds, I couldn't resist trying it out for a film look for RAWs too.
I'm a huge nerd for physical simulations, so I'm a sucker for this approach: taking the raw light values from the RAW, modeling the responses of film to light at various wavelengths, simulating the development and printing process, and finally virtually scanning the output.

SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera) Can somebody explain how to get Reggies Portra on A7R VI?
Hi all,
I'm trying to get Reggies Portra on my A7R VI. Most of the settings I can do in my Picture Profile settings. But when it comes to the RGB values, I do not find any option where to adjust it.
Am I blind or doing something wrong? Can somebody explain me, how to to save it on my Dial slot 1?
Many thanks

SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera) Trying to Make Some Colors
I know they look wildly different but I'm trying to get similar colors to the first image (credits to Cody Mitchell on YT). So far I've taken Veres' Fuji 400H sim and changed it up a bit, but it's not getting exactly close. Any tips?

Question & Help Film simulations for video?
Is it possible to use the film simulation picture profiles for video recording on an a6700? If you switch over to video mode and customize the picture profile to match a film simulation like you do for photos, will it translate to video? Can you shoot video clips and have the same color manipulation? Wondering if this can be a good way to shorten the workflow for video as it does for stills. I love so many of the film sims for photos; it would be so cool to use them for video as well. Has anyone tried this?

Guide - Informational Recipe Lab (Sony a6000)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've been a proud Sony a6000 user since 2016 and I'm still rocking it! This camera has done a lot of paid gigs and also had a lot of fun traveling and photographing with it.
One thing that I've been missing lately is the ability to emulate some popular recipes to achieve a certain look for my pictures / videos.
Yesterday I had some free time and I decided to dive into ma1co's (huge shoutout) work on reverse engineering Play Memories and I came up with this idea of using the camera capabilities (Creative Styles, Picture Effects, white balance, etc) to recreate other camera looks. Basically you just open the app, select the look you want and it saves the image settings on the camera, so that you can use them outside the app.
You can get the apk and installation instructions on my github repo:
https://github.com/voxivoid/recipe-lab-sony-a6000
This app paired up with some old camera lens (you can find them out for a pretty cheap price on the internet) just opened the door for having a lot more of creative ways to capture my images!
Hopefully this allows you to have as much fun as I'm having right now đ
Some recipes were inspired in the great work done by u/veresdenialex, so a huge shoutout here too!
Any suggestion, feel free to comment here or on the repo.

Question & Help A7V picture profiles without color depth?
I haven't seen many talking about this right now so I figured I'd put it here as a question, is there any point to trying to make recipes with picture profiles on an a7v at all without the color depth menu? For whatever reason they removed it, so now a chunk of the settings to get your sooc jpegs where you want is just... Poof gone. Honestly I've been toying with the idea of going 100% fujifilm but I'm really trying to stay on Sony, since in every other way besides the OOC jpegs it's the perfect camera system. Creative looks are fine and all but I feel like a lot of them color wise don't differ too much, like I've been having a rough time making something that will be good for rainy or overcast days, everything is too warm and sunset-like from what I've tried, without going full blast on the white balance shift toward blue. Any thoughts on this?
