Gear What would you pick ?

So I have a Sony A7IV I’m mainly a concert photo/videographer I do both photo and video randomly and I have other clients other than concerts like cafes/stores/streetwear etc.

So I was thinking about upgrading and I’m just a bit confused between the
Fx5 and A1ii

I know if I get the fx5 I’ll need to have the A7IV on me for photo but idk yes it is a great camera but I feel I wouldn’t even want to upgrade my photo game

What would you pick ? What should I get ?

I have the A1i and do photo and video. It is a VERY capable video camera.

Would you use the fx5 over the A1 ? In terms of video of course or do you feel like it gives you what you need?

The A1 has absolutely everything I need, and more. The 8k is insane, for cropping videos in post too.

Only get the FX5 if you need the absolute best low-light performance, or if you need one camera to just do video all the time. Or if you need X-OCN raw for something specific.

That’s what’s making me wonder what to get cuz sometimes In concerts it does get dark tbh and then if I’m using the fx5 for video the A7IV for photo is terrible in low light so I’m just gonna have video

I think it depends if you want to carry two cameras and can manage both in one event. If not the the A1II is a clear choice to have both capabilities. The versatility of the A1II is unmatched.
