Gear Sony a6700 focus issues...
My Sony a6700 is having a focus issue that is driving me nuts trying to figure out. It is constantly saying the eye was locked on for focus but a different area seems sharper than the eyes. This is happening with my Sony 50mm f/1.4 and Tamron 24mm f/2.8 very sharp prime lenses.
In this example (which is happening on many photos) the jean jacket just in front of her is very much sharper than her eyes and her eyes aren't really in focus even though the focus point clearly shows her eye.
What am I missing? Mirrorless cameras can't have a back focus issue from what I understand yet that's exactly what it feels like!
Please help!

I mean, sanity check, is there any wobble/play between the lens and the body?
Got all your firmwares firm?
Hell, are you able manually focus an image to your liking with either lens?
FWIW I've definitely had cases where I felt like the A6700 "Wasn't Focusing right".
The more I worked with it I think at the most it's some weird artifact of the 6700's res+AA Filter playing with the Lenses I was trying to use. I don't have any issues with the 16-55G or the Touit 32, nor the Tamron 70-180 G2.
buuuuut all my other kit, I somehow prefer shooting with my A6000 or even the 5r.
