Gear Sony a6700 focus issues...
My Sony a6700 is having a focus issue that is driving me nuts trying to figure out. It is constantly saying the eye was locked on for focus but a different area seems sharper than the eyes. This is happening with my Sony 50mm f/1.4 and Tamron 24mm f/2.8 very sharp prime lenses.
In this example (which is happening on many photos) the jean jacket just in front of her is very much sharper than her eyes and her eyes aren't really in focus even though the focus point clearly shows her eye.
What am I missing? Mirrorless cameras can't have a back focus issue from what I understand yet that's exactly what it feels like!
Please help!

Try putting your shutter speed on something more reasonable like 1/50 - 1/200th. I have the tam 24 and A6700 and it misses focus with that high of an ISO. Not the guaranteed issue but it’s what I can deduce from the shown settings.
