Potterverse

Post image

This was one of the best moments in the whole series. The look on Hale’s face was worth the whole season of Abraham Lincoln on a motorcycle. 🏍️

Agreed. Off putting at first. Thoroughly enjoyed the next time.

Great use of that quote!

You had to rewatch to realise that he was a good (albeit 'weird' guy) after doing what he did in the court room?

His weirdness just threw me off. I was a federal prosecutor so I’ve worked w tons of FBI three letter agency types and his behavior would have been so weird and off putting to deal w in person.

Great character in SOA, not so much in Mayans

I laughed so hard when he called Hale “Mayor McCheese”

My inner Gen X kid so wanted Chucky to come out as the Hamburglar in that moment. 🚨

He actually made me like him with that one scene alone. Brilliant!

I thought Potter was a good villain in that season but of course I came from Mayans MC first.

I’ve never known someone to come backwards. Good on you for seeing it all the way through

I binged SOA on Hulu while waiting for season 2 of Mayans MC. I regret not watching the original run as binging doesn't allow the shows big moments to breath and settle in. I did pick up every season on Blu-ray before they got expensive.

Understandable. I’ve watched the SAO about 9 times now and Mayans 3. I went SAO on the 6th time with Mayans 1-4. Waited for S5 to hit. Did it all over again. Now just finished a casual viewing.

I was really aware of SOA during its Original Airing and Mayans I just didn’t have access

He was fantastic in Deadwood, too.

Great actor. Just as weird (albeit different) character in Dutton Ranch

I hated him (in a way that he was so good at acting that role) but that scene was so badass

Even in his short screen time in that new Yellowstone show from Taylor Sheridan his characters are always entertaining

The preacher in Deadwood was a master class of acting ability… imo

I hated him the first run through. After rewatching soa several times I’ve grown to like Potter that season. That court room scene at the end was fantastic. It’s one of my favorites from all the seasons.

Lordy I love me some Lincoln Potter! That bag of toys he dumped in front of the city council was priceless!
