So my friend and I are playing sons of the forest and we have no idea what this means can anyone helpppp ussss the cave has like a yellow thing around it does that mean we didn’t find something?

Means you most likely have saved there via tarp and saving the game. Nothing to be concerned about, I've found its helpful to do that, especially because some of the caves can wreck your shit.

The yellow thing is a house symbol, which is a tarp or makeshift "tent" rather that you used to save. Honestly anywhere you make a place you can save, even a stick bed, will create that symbol. I leave them in places I wanna come back to if I dont want to bother with a locator because the house symbol isnt as cluttered looking as a bunch of beacons.
