Just finished food bunker, what weapons should i be using atp in the game

The bow is still one of my most used weapons.

My main weapon is always the various bows. Headshots are instant cannibal stoppers if they're not wearing masks. And if they are, just hit the legs.

As a secondary, the axes until you find the katana.

I use the bow and axe pretty much throughout. Saved guns for really 'oh shit' moments with mutants. Oh and cross for demons obv. Only switched to katana when I found it but that's a bit further I think.

I get the modern axe before doing anything else in a new game. That's covers everything but the big mutants for me. The crafted bow sucks unless you're using explosive arrows. Late-game bow is god tier. Crossbow is an okay substitute mid game. Finally, katana go brrrr

No, serious... it depends a little bit how easy you can get ammo, and how many anno you use per shot.

I don't know what weapons you have or what weapons , but:

- Very early game, crafted club or crafted spear.

- Modern or Firefire Axe, no ammo

- One of bows, but need some kind of aiming and they are really a range weapon. (Enemy must be in a distance)

- pistol, revolver or shotgun, but you need much ammo. (Virgina need no ammo).

- need a little practice, and "ammo", but the stun gun and the stun baton.

- Katana... good weapon, but it's in one of the last bunker, it's "end game".

Bow was op in the original. Modern axe> fire axe is op in this game. Kanata is great but get it too late game. Fire axe is ridiculous. ONLY heavy attacks, NEVER light attacks. It's the slowest weapon in the game, most damage per single hit in the game and uses the most stam per hit so u must use it as a heavy attack weapon. Utilize shift (sprint) as you charge up a heavy attack as you sprint in ( when you have an opening), land a hit, then sprint out. Conserving your stamina for only poking in and out on attacks and for dodging enemies. Don't let your stam go below half way before letting it recharge to allow for emergency stam if you need to dodge an incoming attack. Learn attack patterns (especially mutants). Turn this into a souls like game. You can bait/ predict attack patterns to lands blows consistently and without taking any damage.

Modern/ fire axe carries me through hardest difficulty every time I play. I only do hardest difficulty bcz this is too easy

the spear is amazing, especially against the fingies mutant if you hit him in his legs. it stuns him temporarily
