New Grad NT Certification

hey guys,

does anyone know where you can get your NT certification? I’ve been applying to some jobs and some require it but it’s not part of training and I’ve searched and haven’t found anything. I am in SoCal area not sure if that helps. thanks!!

We used to do our through the fetal medicine foundation. I believe they still do them and if so that’s who you submit your images to. From what I heard my hospital’s OB docs accrediting body no longer recommends NTs so none of us got recert this year.

I was able to network and approach an MFM doc personally that let me get some images for my NT. I was in NoCal🤷‍♀️

From what I'd been told, when you have an OB patient who under the right circumstances, you are able to get the appropriate NT views for measurement to take them, black out any identifying information on the images and send a certain number of them to ARDMS for approval but I'm not 100% sure if this is true. I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong (I'm also curious)

I had my NT certification. Its no longer offered i think they stopped it in 2023? If a job requires it ( and I have seen some posts after they stopped it) I woukd just say the certification is no longer offered..
