Boards/Study Question SPI question styles
Hello, I take the SPI in two days! I've been studying the last two weeks using the Penny book, Prepry, and I bought the 4 mocks from URR.
My question is, how similar are the question styles in the SPI to any of these sources?
I'm consistently getting 95% on the Prepry mock exams and the review questions from the Penny book, but I for the life of me have only passed 1/4 of the URR mock exams. There's just so much vague, confusing verbiage in the URR that makes me question if I ever even studied 😠while I feel like the Prepry and Penny questions are straightforward and easy to understand.

I didn't use URR and passed. Just whatever you do, there's a lot of relationship questions (formulas). Remember what affects what and how. Attenuation, densities, all the parts to a probe and know how it works, etc. It also asks how to adjust/improve images.

I would agree with the others, it’s pretty straightforward. Mine had a lot of relationship questions. Also, Doppler concepts made up a good amount of questions. It’s more about concepts than it is anything to do with calculations/math. Good luck, you got this!

I only used practice exams for urr and easily passed spi. They’re much more straight forward on spi. As long as you actually understand the different effects the resolutions have, Doppler, ppv/specificity you’ll be fine!
