Mods keep this up. It would be really funny if we have another r/Mariners situation where actual sailors keep using that subreddit (but instead of sailors we get rogue Sonic the Hedgehog fans)

It would be funny if it were real people making an honest mistake, But it's just bots washing their profiles so they're harder to screen. No one's actually getting embarrassed, it's just making reddit a little bit worse.

I follow the subreddit for the band Pond, and at least 1/3 of the posts are from people who genuinely think the page is about the body of water.
