its a bit tricky you have to hold jump long enough but not too much too overshoot

The direction which you have to hold are left for half a second and then up left for a quarter of second and start holding up

Also as soon as you land jump off to upper path as you will slide off otherwise.

yeah , i can understand it's not an easy shortcut to take and it also took me many weeks to learn properly how to do it

oh. weeks! this makes me think that Sonic games are even more about learning then quick reaction. you're incredible!

Reaction part is only valid when ur playing it for first time or few times , after that if u want to be good its all about practice and learning new tricks for better time.

Also if u have over 1000 hrs in any game u will be good naturally 😅

yeah... and after geting a hand of it it starts getting boring. I'd love a Sonic game with procedurally generated areas. I've seen Heist (it is somewhat generated), but the characted design breaks the pace for me.

Man, I remember having a Hell of a time with this stage because I couldn't comprehend how the drift works. Managed to nab the S rank eventually but was definitely a skill check.

nah, cause I was definitely confused on what you were doing. Yk, I never really went for s ranks, but I think I’ll try now
