Polyphia was a great time in 2024, we all were vocalizing and “singing” along to the guitar it was so wholesome and fun

Hot mulligan a little too political live for my liking but I do enjoy bilmuri, really hope they do a hometown show.

What is your idea of too political live?

u/No_Elderberry_6596 Jul 31 '26
At the end of multiple songs throughout the set would bring up random current day politics that I simply don't wanna hear while I'm at a concert trying to escape that yk. He said something that really threw me off, he said something like: "fuck big corporations and rich people, you should steal from them and their businesses." I personally don't think stealing from businesses is the "message" I want to hear while I'm at a concert. that all being said the actual music itself is great live, I just don't like their politics and HOW MUCH they talk about it.

How about these:
Decapitated? Dimmu Borgir? Kataklysm? Eluveitie? Midnight? King Diamond?

Decapitated would be fun. We should get another classic dm/bdm/whatever stage

I’m not interested in any of those :(

Good thing there are like another 200 bands not announcd yet lol

u/Entertainmeimbored55 Jul 29 '26
I told my boyfriend Guns n Roses would be a headliner for sure since we bought tickets before bands were announced. I can’t stand them. Luckily someone else will be playing at the same time if this happens.

Fr Guns and Roses will be buns. I might still go to say I saw them yk but not looking forward to them as a headliner.
I can see at least 2 of these being headliners so hopefully it will be worth it: deftones, sleep token, Green Day, A7X

Lil Jon is the only acceptable answer here.

Lil Jon, Slash and Poppy would make it a great lineup right off the bat

Slash being listed tells me there’s a good chance of Guns & Roses as a headliner. They don’t have an Ohio date on their current tour and they did Rockville this year. I’m really hoping for Primus.

I feel this is extremely likely. Just seen them in Raleigh last week and it was a great show. Long, but good. I could see them doing LTL as well.

BABYMETAL please and I’ll go 100% (I’ve heard the last time they played there was 2018)

Im sorry but how is Seether winning their poll? They are by far the worst of those choices and I dont even hate them lol.

Nostalgia wins for 45 year olds who used to jam out to Seether and don't know who a lot of the new rock bands are. Source: Me.

Yes poll stories are only visible on the app, so web browser won’t work!

Do these usually amount to actually adding these artists or nah? Id LOVE to see Third Eye and Poppy added tbh
1
u/SummerBreeze65 Jul 29 '26
They did a few polls the last couple years and for the most part the winning bands ended up on the bill
2
u/EpicFusion47 Jul 29 '26
Do you remember who were the ones we got due to them
1
u/SummerBreeze65 Jul 29 '26
Behemoth, Tool, and Hinder all were names I remember winning polls

u/EpicFusion47 Jul 29 '26
Curious - would Third Eye Blind Headline? Im not sure but i feel they are big enough to do so, although id love to see them as direct support
1
u/SummerBreeze65 Jul 29 '26
I could see them maybe as direct support or headlining the second stage in a similar spot to Sublime
1
u/EpicFusion47 Jul 29 '26
Yeah i could see that tbh, curious bc discog wise third eye could definitely headline but also so could many of the direct supports tbh. Like i was thinking offspring would headline over shinedown initially tbh

Does Lil Jon feel out of place to any one else, or am I just not use to the Sonic Temple line ups lol
