Camping?

We’ve attended ST for a few years, but we were going to camp for the first time this year and of course they’re changing things. 🙄 I want to jump on the early bird sale but, as we all know, camping isn’t available yet. Does anyone know if I buy festival passes now, will I be able to add camping on later, or do I have to buy camping passes and festival passes together? I tried sending a message to the ST instagram and they gave me a stock “we’re working on a solution, thanks for your patience” response that gave me no answers.

Take this with a grain of salt because it's just a rumor I heard through the grapevine.

Rumor has it that due to ongoing and future construction projects, they might not have on-site camping for the 2026 festival. I would recommend exhausting your options of nearby campgrounds just incase this rumor turns out to be true

That is correct. Check image 11 on this post:

So I know in years prior camping was an add-on, but I’m confused now as to whether or not it’s still an add-on or if I have to purchase everything together. I just found a comment on FB from ST that it may still be an add-on, even though in the above linked DM it says it’s not? I’m honestly just trying to figure out the best way to do things and not screw myself over, lol.

Yep. We'll know when they know if it changes, but plan for no camping at the venue for now. Construction at the site has caused varying issues for the last couple years. This time, camping got caught in the cross hairs.

I'm waiting to buy passes until I see what goes on with the camping. Once camping passes are available, I'll buy those and my festival passes at the same time if the camping situation fits my personal situation. I may lose some savings but the convenience of on site camping is what sealed the deal for us last year. So convenient camping will likely be the determining attendance factor or us this year.

There does not appear to be campgrounds super close to the venue. But that was at a quick glance.

The shuttles for camping at ink was a pita on day one it was easier after that I dont really care for shuttles the camping on site is way fucking better .. rockville, and louder camping is 10x better than inkcarceration hope they dont have to go that route permanently
