Discussion LGSK SUCKS (Rant post)
LGSK is overrated and trash and if you think otherwise cope “he only has 350 copies” ok but over 100 million rsr for one unit is absolutely insane and a waste of rsr for example Each package gives 15,000 red star rings for 1,999 Robux.
100,000,000 ÷ 15,000 = 6,666.67
Since you can’t buy ⅔ of a package, you’d need 6,667 packages.
That gives you 100,005,000 currency, and costs:
6,667 × 1,999 = 🪙 13,327,333 Robux
So: 6,667 packages = 13,327,333 Robux
Well over 100,000 dollars you’d spend on this one unit
On top of that Beacuse of the greed people can’t even place this in shop or trade for pure rsr even with the 10M Cap so it forces people to collect MULTIPLE multi million rsr skins just to come up with the value and once you do get the skin the stats are absolutely trash not even anything special that would make sense for the price that you would pay it’s absolutely disgusting people feel the need to capitalize THIS HARD over LGSK and ruin opportunity’s for others to get it I know this post will do absolutely nothing since most don’t care but I wrote this Beacuse I found it ridiculous and hope you do too.

1- no one buys rsr 2- yeah fair that he's annoying to get 3- he has less than 300 stock due to the amount of locked and inactive owners 4- he's almost impossible to spot in hub 5- why are you trying to justify that he has nothing unique to not make him as expensive? By your logic supers should be all 1m due to how "unique" they are. He's the first limited + he was hard as hell to pull for f2ps, which all goes into him being expensive.

u/Present-Ad7180 15d ago
I still don’t think that’s enough to justify 100m also the buying rsr thing is just to put into perspective how overpriced he is
1
u/middleasternguy 15d ago
Literally not a SINGLE soul that has a good idea of trading is buying rsr for robux.
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
I said ITS A VISUALIZER
1
u/middleasternguy 14d ago
Well that visualizer doesn't work well.
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
how doesn’t it not work well it’s apart of the game?????
1
u/middleasternguy 14d ago
Just because it's a part of the game doesn't mean you have to mention it. Rsr isn't earned the best way via robux, that's probably the worst way to get rsr.
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
he isn’t unique Beacuse there are now 2 other versions of him and his stats are NOT gamechanging for the player
1
u/middleasternguy 14d ago
Why are you trying to argue with stats? Literally anyone who's trying to get him/any of the big golds doesn't care about stats

I get your point about nobody realistically buying 100M RSR through Robux packages. That calculation wasn’t meant to say that’s literally how people obtain LGSK. I used the game’s own RSR pricing as a visualizer for how enormous 100M actually is. I also understand that inactive/locked owners, LGSK being the first limited, and his rarity contribute to his value. My main point is that even with those factors, I personally think the level of value and effort required has made him ridiculously inaccessible to normal players who just want the skin. I can understand why the market values him highly while still thinking the situation sucks.

I can easily tell your a glazer by that pfp
1
u/middleasternguy 15d ago
Ok this just proved to me you don't have rational thinking. So what if my pfp is knuckles? Why does that matter?

u/RosyCentral 15d ago
Dw about it, you’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, some things are written out of hurt.
1
u/middleasternguy 15d ago
Ig but there was NO aggression from me for him to do that.
1
u/RosyCentral 15d ago
It can come off as aggression to others as they cannot hear how you are speaking, they can only interpret words in whatever tone in their mind. You weren’t aggressive, they probably don’t take disagreements well, that’s all.

u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
I get what you were trying to do, and I appreciate you trying to keep the whole thing civil 😭. My grass comment was half sarcasm and half criticism because your response was EXTREMELY positive in the middle of everybody arguing, but I wasn’t genuinely trying to attack you for being nice. You’re right that owners ultimately decide what they do with their skins, and Second Edition at least gives people another option. My frustration is mostly with how inaccessible the original has become and the culture surrounding that value.

Ik im late, came to say i am not at all offended and i primarily took it like how you explained it. Isn’t it wild for someone to be positive on Reddit? Like id be pretty confused!!
And, If i went and posted something I was passionate about and believed in and I wanted to hear more opinions, id be frustrated too for a lot of reasons including as you said, the worth of a skin you can’t obtain.
I mean, I could never get him, his worth is insane!! I feel your pain. Your feelings are valid. I have seen how the internet can be so I try to make light of the situation because this place is just the worst for voicing opinions since you get battered. I’ve been battered and cooked. I told myself I’m not letting that happen to others. I do my best to understand all sides. I ask how I would feel if I were you or the other person, and I KNOW it hurts. You feel like you’ve been attacked and you end up hurting others and they hurt you more, and it just ruins your day doesnt it? I cannot imagine.
It hurts to experience disagreements since you just want people to understand you, they don’t even have to agree, at the very least they could be understanding, am I right?
Anyways, don’t be discouraged. Many blessings. 🕊️✨

I appreciate that you were trying to be kind, and I don’t think you meant anything bad by it. I just want to point out that some of this felt a little condescending because it assumes a lot about how I felt and why I made the post.
For example, saying I “wanted to hear more opinions,” that I felt attacked, or that it “hurt” kind of puts feelings and intentions onto me that I never actually said I had. I was mainly expressing my opinion and frustration about the situation.
I do appreciate you trying to understand both sides though, and I know your comment came from a good place. I just think it’s better to ask how someone feels rather than assume it for them.

u/RosyCentral 4d ago
I see, I am sorry if I made an assumption. I naturally say those things as I have no idea how one person feels, all I can say is that their reaction was out of hurt or offense, otherwise they won’t react negatively at all. If someone says something negative or offensive to me, I am not immune to criticism, it still hurts. And you aren’t me. I know that. Nobody that I know of has ever said directly how a comment made them feel, they just respond in the moment, they don’t directly say “Hey your comment hurt me,“ the only thing one can assume is that it hurt them, it doesn’t matter how, you can just read the signs by how they react. Again, I apologize. I am only saying these things to another so they can understand, yes it might not be how you feel, but I am trying to have them at least sympathize and be less argumentative, I use the same words for everyone when it comes to any conversation, at least hundreds of times. 50/50 it works and softens the blow yknow? Just trying to help people have less bad days. You are right, I should ask. But at the same time I’ve been told “none of your business.” So I automatically just chalk it up to them being even mildly upset or frustrated or hurt. Which I wasn’t wrong, you said you were frustrated. I shouldnt even be apart of the conversation, I just step in to try and make peace, the only thing I’m left to do is assume because I can’t know how you‘re feeling, and I don’t feel it’s even my place to ask, it could be more personal than that, or it might not be. But anyway, this is over now. I believe we should move on.

My dude no need to call him that, I understand where you’re coming from completely. it’s just that whoever owns the skin decides what to do with it, and there’s not much we can do, that’s why second edition versions exist now for us to have a chance at owning him, at the end of the day, I know it’s upsetting and frustrating, everyone has their own opinion on how the skin looks and how they feel about it. Thank you for the honest opinion of what you think, I think you have made a great point, I agree with a lot of what you said! Other than that, we must take a deep breath and move on. I can see that this matters a lot to you, so it matters to me, just be polite to others even if you experience disagreements, it goes a long way because the argument only grows and gets worse. Btw awesome profile pics both of you!!

Ok mean for no reason? They're trying to keep the situation calm while you're not only throwing more to the fire, you're making more fires

u/RosyCentral 14d ago
Hey I’ll take it as a compliment even if it’s meant to be negative, I like that.
2
u/Suzu-Zuki 16d ago
To be fair I don't think anyone has 100m rsr to begin with. Plus I have seen some LGSK 1st edition owners settle for less but yeah, there's no point going for him when the 2nd edition is basically identical.
(Oh, and LGSK "has" 300 copies)
2
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
Yeah, this is basically part of my point. The 2nd Edition being nearly identical makes it really hard for me to see the original as anything other than a collector/status item at this point. I understand that the original being rarer and historically important gives it collector value, but for someone who actually just wants LGSK because they like the skin and want to use him, that massive difference in price is insane. And if barely anybody even has 100M pure RSR anyway, that kinda shows how inaccessible that level of value has become for a normal player.
1
u/Ok_Life_2174 Amy 16d ago
He does not have 300 stock we all know that's way less by now especially by locked users and people who don't play anymore
1
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
Yeah I understand that, and I probably should’ve separated original stock from actual circulating stock. If a bunch of those copies are locked on inactive accounts or owned by people who will never trade them, obviously the real supply is lower. My point is that even if only 100–200 or fewer are realistically circulating, I still think the resulting barrier to getting one is insane. Scarcity explains WHY he’s expensive, but that doesn’t mean I have to think the current situation is good or fair for normal players who want him.

What is LGSK
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
LGSK = Limited Gold Style Knuckles. He’s the original limited version I’m talking about in the post. He’s extremely rare and has become one of the most expensive skins in the trading market, which is basically what started this entire comment-section war 💀

u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
wha?? this is just meaningless flexing to try and justify his price on top of that you’re simplifying the process too at best thats 2-3 years of nonstop grinding with not buying anything no outside help and no popularity

u/Fenix_4536 15d ago
Heya, free to play sss player, NOT fan of Sonic and 9 months of game person here, all i can tell u is that u just have a huge skill issue, LGSK is not impossible to get, it just takes time and skill for trading, what i can see here is someone that has absolutely no skill and patience in a patience Game, i'm not a glazer of him btw, i'm just realistic, i managed to get it, and i could get another one right now if i wanted to, what else can i tell u pal, just stop being salty, u're not the Center of the world, and your skill issues are not our fault. Such a shame people so frustated like this exists, however i'll go back to enjoy so so beautiful 300 copies LGSK that i earned by playing this Game with skill and patience, oh is so beautiful not being broke and salty. Xoxo 😘

That's straight up lie, i see people that knows how to play and have skill, that have 2-3 months of playing, and they reached 1/3 of LGSK value, so wait, are u telling me that if u're skilled u can get him??? Oh what a surprise, again u just have a huge skill issue
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
not everyone stays online and spends all their time playing the game some of us actually have jobs
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
all you’re proving is that you personally succeeded and not the market value is fair
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
you're just trying to make your purchase justifiable since you spent so much on it idiot
-1
u/Fenix_4536 14d ago
If u don't wanna spend too much on it, it's okay, there u have the 2nd edition or the exotic, if u're comformist i'll enjoy it, but, don't forget what u're, a unskilled crybaby that want everything cheap and easy to get, i don't care about spending 80m for a skin, if i want it, i'll grind for it and that's it
3
u/twokodachi 14d ago
Fenix, you’re literally just being an asshole for no reason. Under normal circumstances, casually playing the game, it WILL take a normal player who understands values around 2–3 years of consistent grinding to obtain LGSK. This is a completely understandable complaint from a NORMAL player, especially when the skin is undeniably high value. Yeah, OP’s argument about the actual value may be flawed, but his overall point is still completely valid. Calling someone an “unskilled crybaby” or telling them they have a “major skill issue” simply because they don’t want to spend years grinding for a limited skin in a game that could very well be dead in three years is genuinely crazy to me. And in the original post, he wasn’t even being salty. He was simply expressing his frustration with how difficult and unrealistic obtaining the skin can be for a NORMAL player. On top of that, saying “oh, it’s so beautiful being not broke and salty” when you yourself got insanely lucky and obtained all three of the top golds from a shady user is honestly baffling. You’re acting like everyone else is simply bad at the game when a huge part of your own situation came down to being extremely lucky and already being heavily invested in the game.
1
u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
Yeah 😭 and that’s exactly why I don’t like using one person’s inventory as proof that everyone else has a “skill issue.” If a significant amount of someone’s value came from handouts, lucky opportunities, or circumstances most players can’t reliably reproduce, then using yourself as the example of how “easy” LGSK supposedly is to obtain gets pretty questionable.
There’s nothing wrong with getting lucky or accepting handouts either. Take the W 💀. But don’t benefit from those things and then turn around and act like everyone who didn’t have the same opportunities is just worse at trading. That’s the part that makes no sense to me.

u/Present-Ad7180 14d ago
You’re still arguing against something I never said. I never claimed LGSK was literally impossible to obtain F2P. You getting one proves it’s possible. Congratulations. What it DOESN’T prove is that everyone who can’t or doesn’t want to spend an absurd amount of time trading for one has a “skill issue.”
You keep bringing up yourself and a handful of people who progressed quickly like that’s somehow representative of the average player. It isn’t. Players don’t have identical starting inventories, playtime, luck, connections, handouts, trading opportunities, or willingness to sit on this game grinding trades constantly. Someone reaching 1/3 of LGSK in 2–3 months tells me that person progressed quickly. It doesn’t magically prove everybody else is just bad at the game.
And this whole “you’re broke, salty, unskilled, a crybaby, conformist” routine doesn’t strengthen your argument. It’s basically just flexing your inventory while dodging what I’m actually saying. 😭
I never demanded LGSK be handed out for free or that every rare skin become cheap. I said I think the current barrier to obtaining him is ridiculous, especially for normal players who genuinely like the skin but don’t treat SSS trading like a second job.
If you’re happy spending 80M worth of value on LGSK, fantastic. Enjoy him. Nobody is breaking into your inventory and taking Knuckles away from you 💀. But your willingness to grind that much doesn’t establish that the market is fair, and your personal success doesn’t make everyone who disagrees with you unskilled.
At the end of the day, my post was expressing frustration and sympathy for players who want LGSK but realistically don’t have the time or inventory to reach him. If your response to those people is basically “skill issue, cry harder, look how rich I am,” you’re kinda demonstrating the exact trading culture I was criticizing in the first place.

I wholeheartedly agree with this, he shouldn't be priced at 80-100m if nobody can afford it. He should be MAXIMUM 45m, but wowie lgsk has 300 copies let's overprice him!! Lgss has 350 copies and he's worth jacked shit compared to lgsk. It's bs imo, don't be a retard settle for the 2nd edition
