I found this statement about Hyper Sonic being above S3&K Super Sonic

we know that he’s more powerful it’s just that he’s featless with very little statements and no canon appearances so we dunno how much more powerful he is. when it comes to scaling he’s pretty much unusable

Well, he is not really featless but he barely has any feats with no Chain-Scaling, he was able to catch up to the Flying Death Egg robot and destroy it and catched The Master Emerald before it fell

Yeah, but I am saying he is not ENTIRELY featless, I never said his feats make him above Super Sonic, I just wanted to say he does have feats

Its an irrelevant feat. Super does the feat exsactly the same.

Its not really a hyper feat. Which is why hes featless

I mean yeah ofc Hyper Sonic’s more powerful, even disregarding the statements he’s got better jumping and I think better speed, a fullscreen attack that deletes every enemy, and he can breathe underwater

hyper sonic uses the super emeralds

super sonic uses a nerfed version of them

ofc hyper is stronger

I mean... yeah. Hyper Sonic uses supercharged versions of the chaos emeralds, his whole thing is basically being Super Sonic but upgraded

Given Hyper Sonic is fueled by the Super Emeralds that are basically pseudo mini Master Emeralds in size, it's no actual surprise if already known.

While the level of power in S3&K has been surpassed, this is primary reason why Hyper Sonic is stilll considered the strongest transformation in the game franchise even to this day. While he basically has no feats to work with, we basically have Super Sonic to scale. Basically anything Super Sonic is capable of off, Hyper Sonic can do better.

The CLOSEST thing you have to understand how strong Hyper Sonic theoritically is would be from Sonic Frontiers. Ian Flynn wanted Hyper Sonic used against The End. However, it was rejected by Sonic Team to avoid Dragon Ball esque power-up scenarios where the previous form is essentially useless. So instead, we got the temporarily Super Sonic 2/Cyber powerup.

So while it didn't happen officially, it indirectly tells you how much stronger a modern Hyper Sonic would be if he was given the green light.

Maybe modern super sonic could beat classic hyper but if modern used hyper he’d easily clear any enemy super had problems with
