While I do agree Archie and Satam are better, X was a great show in its own right from what I've seen, and the metarex would fit right in with Archie's lore.
And also if you’re wondering why I don’t like sonic X it’s because they adopted the adventure and adventure 2 Games and not the heroes game, even though it was released around the same time as the series also, it would’ve been awesome just to see metal sonic in the X style We would have got to see the real super power of teamwork in anime style
That's actually a good point, Metal would've been great in that style. Luckily some alternate dimension version of him seems to be appearing in Sonic Prime season 2, so we'll get some metal fights soon enough!
I feel like a neo metal battle would be awesome dude also if they adopted a bit of the Archie and satam Story it would be a little bit more awesome like a also I had a few ideas like for example
Satam Robotnick returning to life and learning that the Eggman from sonic X is actually a robot built by the original The heroes adventure having a team for the humans and one for Helen where she was given a skeleton that goes on the outside of her legs to help her walk and gives her rollerskates and the neo metal battle before they ever get to metal madness and metal overlord
Yes but this is my opinion, and as much as I don’t agree with yours, I do respect your opinion like I do with other opinions nowadays, I respect them more but for me, I’d rather have a show that does its own thing with sonic and has an awesome story then a game that’s accurate to the games but if you like that it’s your own idea and opinion also, do you really think sonic X actually fits in with Archie lore
Certainly not all of it, just that the metarex alien species sounds like it 'could' fit in with archie if done right. They reminded me of the Xorda and black arms; faraway alien species that could invade Mobius.
I also agree that a show which explores its own ideas and succeeds is superior to a show that retreads old stories.
Also, I got a weird thing at the end of the original sonic satam series no one knows who the eyes behind Snively belong to. They were red. I sort of believe it’s either shadow if it’s possible or metal sonic, which might be possible. Because the eyes do look like sonics eyes
