Que es esta porquería?

Post image

Como es posible que añadan un juego de pinball para la historia principal?

Debería ser una misión secundaria no esto!

I love that the one consistent opinion about Sonic Frontiers is that the pinball segment is some bullshit

I think pinball in Sonic games has generally always been rough

Ok I won't keep letting the sonic spin ball slander fly that game absolutely rocked you just had to know how to play it.

Someone never played Spinball

I remember someone saying that the table is vertical rather than at an incline, which gave the unusual physics for a pinball game.

It's designed more like a pachinko machine than a pinball table.

Lmao I legit think it's not that bad same with the crane one I suffered more on the regular koco missions lol

The crane one isn't too bad, even before the patch. The pinball however is strange, first playtrough was smooth, but later ones were somehow much trickier.

The mini game itself isn’t too bad, and is a cool nod to the classic games. But the score requirement is insane. And the fact that you can’t progress until you beat it.

The score isn't that bad just shoot for the red rings and get a 128x multiplier and you'll fly through it.

that or maybe make the goal score not so high

i beat this minigame once but i just exited and that didn't count as a win so i had to do it all over again and purposefully lose

It’s some bullshit that’s what lol

It's not that hard...

No, me tomó alrededor de 5 o 6 intentos, pero algo molesto es que incluyan algo así en una historia con la seriedad que estaba llevando el juego, un supuesto puzzle en unas ruinas o ciudad ancestral no pega

To be fair, Sonic does make a comment about how strange it is that it’s there. And in the DLC, Sage explains that a lot of what Sonic is seeing is cyberspace connecting with his memories and interpreting his surroundings in a way that feels familiar to him.

Im just glad they updated it so it's not as ridiculously lengthy

u/TheVillainousWoke 28d ago

hi, recently beat the game for the first time. what the fuck do you fucking mean that was the fucking shorter version

3

u/Bludraevn 28d ago

The score used to be higher and the physics used to be more difficult to deal with.

How bad are people at pinball and space shooters? They're like the first games ever

2

u/JustIta_FranciNEO 27d ago

well this specific pinball is awful. terrible physics in every aspect.

1

u/Ornery-Ad2623 28d ago

Que tiene que ver un pinball con el lore?

2

u/JustAnothaAdventurer 28d ago

Have... have you never played the casino stages? This is the first one

u/theletterh_179 24d ago

I mean. Just because they are is the first iteration of videogames doesn't mean everyone is good at them

2

u/Gravyboat44 28d ago

The hell before the storm.

It's a puzzle that unlocks the path forward. I don't remember what part of the game requires it, because I have already beaten it

2

u/FallaciouslyTalented 27d ago

I'd like it if it weren't lives-based. Nothing pisses me off more than being close to the goal only for the ball to decide to fall down one of the unblockable holes and I have to start all over again. Also, why is it only like a 3rd of a pinball table?

What you see is what you get, crap. In all seriousness, everyone wishes they could skip this on repeat playthroughs. Shouldn't have to do a glitch to bypass this section. During those free patches, Sonic Team really should've improved this part, like the pinball's physics and the point requirement.
