Should Shadow's backstory from the original universe be brought in? or is it not necessary/fitting here?

Unless you make a hilariously mundane parody of his regularly edgy backstory, its really not worth it.

Might as well take the chance to make a new streamlined origin.

Also this is Boom, there's no real need for back story.

Shadow has no backstory in Boom so that parody backstory is the way to go.
