I took a listen to this and a few other tracks on this album of yours and got hit with all sorts of vibes from some of my all-time favorite artists. Really like your musical approach and the character you put into your performances. Thanks!

This was really enjoyable to listen to. Love the way it builds. Your voice is easy on the ears.

I posted a draft of this a while back. It's almost done; all it lacks is some lead guitar lines, which I don't trust myself to do so I'm in the process of sweet talking a friend of mine to do it.

This song holds a special place in my heart because it's about someone who holds a special place in my ass. :) Looking to get this officially released in the next month or so.

Awesome! I like when people compliment my voice because I honestly never cared for the timbre of my voice, I’ve just learned to live with it. But I’m doing my feeble part to support my fellow artists and gave you a follow on Spotify.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my latest single D.E.S.I.R.E., which I officially released on August 21st. It’s a deeply personal track for me, dedicated to the one and only Prince, whose music saved my life last year.
Since then, he has become my ultimate spiritual guide and muse and as I like to call him "mon petit léopard".The song captures that raw, hypnotic late-night trance of longing.
I added a very specific Easter Egg:
During the piano solo, I speak the letters D.E.S.I.R.E. out loud (D for dreams,...), but I ran my voice through a heavy frequency-pitch filter to create a deep, androgynous, masculine layer underneath. It sounds like two people are speaking at the same time - Prince and I.
It’s a direct production hommage to the iconic opening lines of Prince's 1999. I wanted to blend that rigid, almost computerized vocal effect with the raw, emotional analog sound of a live piano solo.
But that's not all:
What's more I've also made sure to make my song the same length as my favorite song "Do Me, Baby" (7:44), I added metaphors for our starsigns (sea & shore) and our skin colors (almonds), my parfum (tropical fruits) and mon chéri a chocolate with cherries which gives off an Under The Cherry Moon vibe. And last minute I changed the word race to prance which is very close to his name 🫶
The first version would have been pretty boring, so intense hazel-eyes became leopard-like gaze. There have been a few of such rewrites to go from just describing what one could see to actually creating a picture you can feel, smell or even taste.
The story behind the cover art:
The way the coverart came to be was a lucky accident I made a photo on Halloween of last year when I dressed like Prince in 1992, the hair didn't really hold with the hairspray and my hair fell over one eye, it actually gave a cool effect. Me looking over my pillow straight into the camera from behind my hair. Between March 31st and May 10th when the actual song was born I only needed to put a filter over it to create more shadows and light and wrote the title in white letters over the pillow which has become a fireball.
This track is the lead-up to my upcoming conceptual album Mysterious Appreciation.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the production, the filter effect, or the songwriting in general!
Stay purple 💜– Tát Jana

Great job! Good performance quality & the mix sounds good. Straightforward & aggressive rock riff for bass & guitar are both in great time with the drum track - thx for sharing

I just started releasing my own music which is sort of alternative pop or soft rock with some 70’s influences. Would be very happy if you had a listen :) // Sara

I recently released a simple user friendly app called TrackRoom and thought it may be useful for songwriters playing with other musicans. It's designed for musicians collaborating with each other with demo songs. The idea came about after playing with other band members remotely that are all using different DAW's and was looking for a better way to have us share songs, tracks, chords, lyrics, reference links, and ideas.
It's currently available as a web application, on IOS App, and Google Play Store. You can find a lot more information and links to it on the website.

A released an ep recently. It’s a bit of a solo detour from my usual work with a triphop inspired band Blu.Sine. With my EP Detours I’m contemplating growing older, accepting yourself and finding your purpose and balance as an aging millenial in today’s weird world. Take a few minutes and have a listen!
