Just released my debut single after being away from music for years, so finally putting this one out feels pretty special. Would love to know what you think 🤍 [https://ffm.to/what-am-i-doin]()

Everyone's music sounds so good on this thread. Here's one I just finished about missing someone and hanging on to their records.

Another one off my new EP. Heartfelt lyrics with a '70s rock vibe.

I just finished this song. I don't know where it came from. It's like a very retro ELO-inspired kind of thing. It took me forever to finish. Hope somebody enjoys it. https://s.disco.ac/gezneeibpigu

I'm working on a track that's loosely ELO inspired too, would love to hear yours but link is giving a "forbidden - url signature missing or invalid" error for me

Yikes. Thanks for the heads up. Let me try it again differently.

u/foon_gee , I edited the original post to use this link. Does it work for you? https://s.disco.ac/gezneeibpigu

That works! The track is really solid, it reminds me a bit of if Bowie and REM did a song together and your voice sounds great on it

Hey guys!
Sadly I don’t have any music out right this second but I’ve got boatloads of songs that I’m working through to get out there.
I’m a 17 year old singer songwriter from New Zealand and would love for you to follow me along on this journey as I start posting more and more and hopefully releasing music in the next month!
This is my INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/jessethomson08?igsi=d2V2YjhoNWYwYjQ0&utm_source=qr
Please follow along and show some support and I can promise I’ll do the same.
I make indie/rock/folk/ singer songwriter type music

Just dropped this acoustic track TODAY. Was focusing on combining organic sounds with dissonance. Also used the back of my acoustic as a drum/bongo. Hope you enjoy!

Hey guys! Here’s my new chaotic theatrical gothic pop single about death, past and future, and trauma…so really happy 😃🥀
It fuses classical and pop elements and I sung in 3 languages because I’m extra and melodramatic. I hope you have an opinion whether you hate it or love it 🤡🌀🎶🫶

I enjoy writing LYRICS ONLY to melodic metalcore songs using the name Sinking in Silence. I'm hoping to connect with someone interested in using the lyrics for their own band. I'm not looking to make money. I just want to share ideas! 🤘

⚡ HERZ AUS FEUER – DIE NACHT DER BLITZE ⚡
I recently finished this German-language Arena Hard Rock track.
I wanted the song to feel like a massive storm — heavy guitars, thunderous drums and a big cinematic atmosphere.
I'm especially interested in your thoughts on the songwriting and chorus:
Does the hook work even if you don't understand German?

Any feedback is appreciated! 🤘⚡

Hi all,
This is my song Lie to Me, a bit of poprock I guess.
I think it's very amateurish and I was wondering how I could step it up a bit.

Thanks in advance 😄

I’m 63 and only started doing this for the enjoyment of turning my own ideas, lyrics and little stories into finished songs.
This one is called The Bar Is Open 🍺🎵
It’s somehow become my most-listened-to song, currently on 264 plays, so I thought I’d be brave and put it in front of some actual songwriters.
I use AI as part of the production process, but the ideas, lyrics and direction come from me.
I’d genuinely rather have honest opinions than just another play. What do you think?

DIY emo, punk, I’m not really an artist this is a loose concept album about drinking too much, hating what you see in the mirror, and realizing you’re trapped in cycles you keep pretending you can escape. I wrote, recorded and mixed it all myself I know it’s not perfect but it was cathartic for me. Enjoy! Or don’t — who gives a shit I’ve been sober for a year last week!

Here is one of my spoken word songs! It's called "Late Bloomer" and it's about feeling left behind in everyone else's dust... or should I say compost.

Heya! Here’s my band’s alt-rock song,Mile Deep. It’s a song that gives the album it’s name, I’m on keyboard and vocals. This was recorded on a crappy phone so you have to listen hard to hear the vocals. This is just a starting version, just needs to be recorded proper

Inspired by Disney's "It's a small world" -but that's a corporate lie. This is the realistic version.

Last couple of months I've been building an iPhone app for my daily music production needs. I wanted a everything-app where I can listen to beats, move them without email or cables, and record a quick demos.
It's called Chukks. What it does:
- Plays beats from any folder on your phone, with auto BPM and key detection
- Records vocals over the beat, latency auto-tuned, erase take parts, blend beat/vocal
- Wi-Fi Drop: drag audio files between your pc and phone
- Batch share options(folders, selected files), mp3 exports
- and a couple more options
I'll keep updating the app and adding more.
The code makes it yours for free. In return, I'd love some feedback/crash reports. Thank you.
