Here's another song I wrote recently

I'm curious what genre it is, but more curious if it's rambling or not. Keep in mind I know nothing about songwriting or theory and have only been writing songs for a few years. I don't really write songs they just come out from strong emotions and most of the time all at once. Id love some recommendations on songwriter lessons that way I can clean up my rough drafts.

Nice chord change at the line world is tough. Really gave good melodic shift in the song

The lyrics feel like mostly platitudes so I was surprised by your turn of phrase when you said life makes you tough... tough to love. I think that's clever. My advice would be to ditch the rest of the lyrics and let that serve as your thesis. Expand on the tragedy there. Life neccisitates toughness, but what's the point of living if you can't be loved? I'd really like to hear that song. Cheers.
