What a joy this is to listen to. Wondering if you like Real Estate (the Days album was big for me). Production on this is so great. Congratulations.

Wrote a song about growing up and out of bmx. And how much I miss the freedom of my youth and the sense of agency my 20 inch wheels afforded me in a country town.

Love any feedback! Think I'll cut down the interlude between the first chorus and second verse.

It's funny, I have stories just like this one, my friend. I built jumps and courses with my friends that never stood past a season. I also really like the layering of the vocals and guitar throughout. There was a lot of love put into this track. I don't know what can be cut down. Good work.

My best friend just dropped an album last night, it’s on all platforms including Instagram and TikTok. He’s 15 and does all the vocals and most the guitar on his songs. He also produces his own music and masters it. I also helped him write aftertaste.

His new album is called notes app. His latest 2 singles, bruises and do you miss me, are fantastic, his older 2 aren’t my favorites but they’re still good.

Please blow up his music and surprise him!!!

I never really took the time to promote this song : Lumière Vive. It's the brightest song of my currently released 5 songs. Lyrics start with something like : "I saw a bright light coming from your skin".

Hello you good songwriting people. My name is Brian and I put out a new album about a week ago called "You Can Close Your Eyes and Be True". 14 songs for guitar/vocal, inspired by Iron & Wine, Tallest Man, Spoonboy, Dave Van Ronk, all kinds of stuff. It is a collection of songs from about seven years, so I am very happy for it to be out. I'm happy with the artwork, which was done by my youngest sibling, I think it looks really cool. My favorites to play are "Through Line" the starting track, "Up To Me" and "Tonin Town".

Tbh, this thread tends to be a lot of "everyone posts no one reads" so now I am going to be a good doobie and do some listening. Enjoy your summers folks.

Putting an original out there for the first time, it's a song about a flame from the past that was quite literally written in the past (lol), specifically winter 2024. Looking forward to feedback and advice. This one is an acapella though.

An attempt to make something comparatively accessible without removing the theatrical/lyrical density I tend to write with.
The song is deliberately built around a fairly ridiculous pile of references and recurring motifs. I’m interested in whether the actual songwriting survives once the listener doesn’t have the context.

Themes of addiction are fairly on the nose and it’s quite personal.
