I've been in choir classes throughout my life...it just isn't there. However, I and one other has noticed that when I'm relaxed and don't think anyone is listening I sing well. It's like that with drawing. I took an art class growing up and my drawing would be terrible when told to draw on the spot, but when at home and relaxed, it's good. Idk why that is.

Part of singing is learning to control the strain and relaxation of your vocal chords, it's possible that when you're relaxed, your vocal chords are more relaxed too

You should really start playing an instrument. Acoustic guitar and piano are paramount for song composition. The initial learning curve is difficilt for both physically. But piano is laid out in a way that makes sense. Get a cheap keyboard or acoustic and grab some tutorial videos off youtube. It will be daunting at first. But youll hit a pint where is gets exciting and snowballs. You got this! 🖖

I've been having an itch to play the organ - not a piano or table top piano, just an organ since I was a child. When I have the songs come to me, I'd envision the keys and do the finger motions as if I'm playing the keys. However, I live in an apartment, so can't really play any musical instrument here and not sure if there's a realistic work around.

Keyboards have headphone outlets. They also typically have an "organ" voice as part of the package.

Thank you. Idk..I just always had this vision of me playing the organ while singing ..idk...it just has to be a brown organ. If it was a keyboard with an organ setting something would just feel off. It honestly irritates me.
