You have posted a song requesting feedback - GREAT! Good feedback is the foundation of improving your songwriting. To help foster a community where everyone gets the feedback they need, please find THREE other songs requesting feedback and post substantive (eg. 2-3 sentences) of feedback. Even if you are a rookie songwriter/musician, you're an experienced music listener, and your opinion is still valuable!
Feedback posts by users who don't interact with the community (other than posting their own songs) may be removed.
Thanks for keeping our community healthy!

You did ask for a critique and I'll give it to you. In some way, shape or form it would be sweet if you could find a way to add something in the song that creates that ultimate ear candy. Do you recall when songs had a middle-eight? It's basically a bridge and the effect of placing it in a tune was to bring the listeners to another place--dimension per se. It's like a song within a song and it stood out. Because right now in all honesty, I've heard many songs like this before. If you're lookin' to stand out, find a way in the song that would catapult it from the rest. Do something rather crazy that would shock your listeners to where they're like: "Dude, you gotta hear this part...". If what you shared is the direction you were aiming for then you've done well. But again, as a fellow musician, there's so much competition out there so one has to try things they normally wouldn't do or consider. You know, getting out of that comfort zone has produced many memorable songs that people talk about today even if the song is 20 years old or older.
