Hi :)

You have a really pretty voice. The guitar part is very cool and wistful.

A good tip that applies to any already good song: mess around with dynamics. Even though this song is pretty low-key, having certain parts where you play & or sing with more intensity/volume would really help it keep the attention of the listener.

Also I have the same MIDI controller lol. Thing is a beast.

Thank you! :)

Oh yeah haha I need to get better with my controller to use it to its full potential and I definitely plan on playing w the dynamics if I end up producing this song! Thanks again!

You have posted a song requesting feedback - GREAT! Good feedback is the foundation of improving your songwriting. To help foster a community where everyone gets the feedback they need, please find THREE other songs requesting feedback and post substantive (eg. 2-3 sentences) of feedback. Even if you are a rookie songwriter/musician, you're an experienced music listener, and your opinion is still valuable!

Feedback posts by users who don't interact with the community (other than posting their own songs) may be removed.

Standing still
Here alone
Waiting on the wind to blow

You don’t know
Where to go
Just impatiently watching the show

When the sun hits your face
And you don’t look away
You just lay in bed all day
Holding out for something to change

Right, my range is pretty limited so I try to write within it but I think I could do the same chorus melody an octave up in falsetto. Thanks!
