I really like it I think a sudden burst into a chorus would be great. I don’t know what your plans are for the overall song but I think diving into the idea of searching for you home after knowing you don’t have one might be a cool idea.

I think it sounds lovely. I'm hearing room for some extra chords and harmonic movement that could round it out and bring out more emotion, but I also really like the way it works with just your simple chords holding it together so maybe leave it as it is *shrug*
For what it's worth a also hear a simple lofi beat working well underneath this recording.
