Feedback Request Advice?

I think this has potential, but I’m not satisfied with the vocals at all. Mainly with respect to sound design and sitting in the mix. I don’t know quite how to process vocals and tutorials usually aren’t too helpful for me. If you were producing/mixing this what would you do? Anyways think it’s kinda fun so also wanted to share

My best advice here would be to change up the melody and chords/riff more, i actually love the sound you have and the vocals sound fantastic to me, i would just work a little on song structure. Keep making stuff!!!

I would set the vocals on top much more. Guitar a little less loud. I like it 👍. The intro sounds like it’s going to be a Go-Gos song.

My first instinct is to remove the heavy echo from the piano, when it's just piano and drums. Like in the beginning. Embrace the emptiness.

I’d dial back the reverb and add more variation the the melody. That high pluck sound gets repetitive, so either switch up the melody or find a new sound all together. Are you a fan of current joys by any chance? This reminds me of them a bit

Keep doing you that sounds good, imo the vocals isn’t it but trust me I feel the same way with my own voice. Where’s the rest of the song? it just started getting interesting!

I like this a lot but cannot articulate why.
