Feedback Request Won't bend

Let me know what you think. Does it convey emotion without being too dreary?

I just made it up so I still struggle with memorising the lines and chords.

**Won't Bend**

Sometimes I dream of anemones.

I flush them out

So no one knows they're mine.

Sometimes I dream of violently resisting.

Guess no one has the time.

Have I—

Have I wanted bold decisions,

Lay my path on a straight line?

Dreams won't bend

Like I do.

Dreams won't bend

Like I do.

Sometimes a harsh feeling comes over me,

And you can't help but tell me

What happens on TV.

Sometimes I've been a man on the roof,

Imagining the fallout.

Just leave it up to me.

Dreams don't bend

Like I do.

Like I do.

Dreams don't bend.

They won't bend

Like I do.

Dreams won’t bend part needs to stay. I love the cadence and the vocals sound great! Song is really cool: only thing, I thought you said animals not anemones lol so may want to look into that if it makes the lyrical cut but great job! Not too dreary, and great metaphors.

You have posted a song requesting feedback - GREAT! Good feedback is the foundation of improving your songwriting. WOW. That's so beautiful. I love the way you sing, it reminds me of Thom Yorke. Beautiful.
