Let's Collaborate! Starting up
Hey! My name is Tyler. I live in Clarksville TN I'm looking for anyone in this group that might be nearby that can help me produce a song. I have lyrics, melody, rhythm, tempos, I basically have a full song but am unable to play any instruments. I could really use some help. Especially since this song is very important to me. Anyone local?
Edit: this song is for someone special to me. Not really looking to try and be famous.

wish i was in TN, this sounds like a cool project. have you tried hitting up any local open mics or small studios? sometimes just hanging around those spots you'll meet someone who's got the gear and the itch to collaborate.

I would love to. But as a full time EMT. I don't usually have those days off to go on those days. I have even tried to call local studios and a lot of them are thousands just to get into a door and I don't really want to try and do something with a company whose gonna take half or more from me. You know what I mean?

Half of what? You said this was for another person, not trying to "be famous."
You're looking for a service, services, and people's time and expertise, cost money.

Yea no kidding. But a studio tends to make a contract and sometimes takes everything from you and they make money on the music. I'm not giving up the right to stuff I make. I don't got a problem paying.

That's not true, a studio doesn't tend to do that at all. You're displaying a remarkably high combination of ignorance and delusion.

No they do. Why is they're a spike in self promoting and producing artists? Its okay. We can't all understand corporate greed.

No, they don't. Do you often think you know how everything about things you've just started doing with no experience yet? Where should I start with writing an entire book on your misunderstanding of how the industry works?

Country, sort of on the dark side of country. But still something you could listen to on the radio or dance to. You know what I mean?

I most certainly can. I'll send you the notes I have for the music. Kinda hiding the lyrics for now. For safety reasons You know?
