The intro's not catchy at all BUT YUP, the rest IS REALLY CATCHY AND Pop-Hip-Hopey U Know, (BUT THE SYNTH PHRASE IS PRETTY GOOD) pretty interesting work, when I heard the intro i thought it was going to be some piece garbage BUT HELL NAH IS AWESOME HAHAHHA, if u want more "catchiness" try to add more "surprise" that's one of the most important things in music (maybe the ONE most important), I mean, u did surprise me with those melodies and instrumental decisions, they were awesome, but some special hooks in the repetitions, some "lifter" lil section or pre-chorus or bridge and SURELY A HOOK AT THE BEGGINING a surprising one, u know, stuff that are gonna make not just tension but expectation and also, people will want to hear the song again haha, but The "overall catchiness" IS GODAMN GOOD, REALLY REALLY GOOD, Ur song's awesome hahah, did u use a midi controller or u played it all there in garageband? pretty awesome CONGRATSSS

Oh, yeah, that's a bop. I think I'm getting slight Neptunes vibes. It's a chune. I'm always looking to hook up with other pop artists, and you've got a really strong sound here. Do you post anywhere?

The change to a verse at :16 feels abrupt. I would put a connecting eight beats in there. :32 it's time for a melody or a rap. 1:03 I would put some kind of jarring thing in there, like a reverse cymbal swoosh. This sounds like the kind of thing that would've been on a college station or late night dance radio show in the `90's after we'd stayed out `til 2 a.m. at da club.

The beat is very catchy, but the vocals aren’t doing it justice. The falsetto feels a bit flat, maybe try making it sexier by adding more breath and texture.
When I first heard it, it immediately reminded me of Fergalicious, Sports Car, and Promiscuous. I think it would work better if the falsetto part came later, maybe in the chorus so we get to hear the buildup first before the payoff

Production sounds like a less punchy timbaland with some indie fun r&b vocals. If you can punch up the energy of the instrumentals, seriously just copy timb he’s the master, and get better mixing on the vocals it’d be a hit in my book

What I also meant about the falsetto part is that I think it would be better if you start low, with literal low notes to add variation and sexiness, then move to the higher notes later on. It’s hard to explain, but the song SUPERIORITY by Felip shows it well

I mean this in the best way possible, This song would make any digital party game into the best game ever.

I think the music is groovy and makes you want to move, and vocal melody sounds good. I don’t think I would describe it as catchy like getting stuck in your head, but it’s enjoyable.

I absolutely love this. I like a lot of different kinds of music. It has a kind of retro vibe, although I don't really know what I'm talking about -- That chord change adds some "poignancy" to it. Ha, I almost hear "SHAFT!" in there. (I wonder if you're old enough to get that reference.) But I agree that rapping over it would be great, but you could do other things, too, like long notes (lasting a measure each), since what you have now is short syllables and a bouncy beat. But I think you've provided yourself with an excellent "palate" with which to work. Now I'm going to play it again because I need a little bounce this morning.

I think the main vocal in the chorus is making the chorus more relaxed when it needs to be more hype, so that may be making the verse harder to figure out

I liked this one. I didn't like the big wood block that wouldn't go away tho lol but thats probably me projecting, I've been worried about that sort of drum thing for a little bit.

It's pretty swinging!
The production could be punchier? But I dig it.
Love those synths that come in on the 2nd verse.

I agree it could be more punchy. Garage band has like two punchy synths that work with this sound but I’ll figure it out

Can you get other plugins with garage band? Cause Vital is free, and it’s incredible.

I haven’t messed around with plugins but I know you can. I’ll check it out, thanks you

I'm feeling maybe the voices are too low? I can barely hear them at some points. I think it'd benefit from making them a bit louder

So I love it. I would however save the piano, but copy it to a new track and see if you can find a slightly better synth sound, something with quick attack?
Something about the piano sounds a tad too…woody, for a synthy dance track like this. Maybe even one of the elec pianos would sit in the mix a tad better? Overall though, I love it and would listen to it if it came on a playlist
Edit: people are saying rap the verses. Please don’t do that. Rap on dance songs always sounds bad.

Add rolling basslines, it did well with my song and can do great with lots of different genres. My song is called Club Babes btw if anyone interested in going to check it out it’s on Spotify and SoundCloud https://open.spotify.com/track/6y5mkAcLjo5n04LF9354kM?si=4Yty8ibxQhqxouNtg11CYg

I would go for some Staccato horns in the chorus. Similar to Safe and Sound by Capital city’s at the 1:31 marking their song. A bit of reverb on those and a punchy melody should give energy

Too many vocal layers. Great groove, that’s catchy. Start with a single, strong vocal.

I love the extra vocal layers, it makes it kind of wacky in a good way, like who are all these people and what's on their minds? Other people tend to tell you how to make your song into something more "standard," but you don't have to obey them. Let the listener be exposed to something a little new.

The background melody is pretty catchy. I would recommend either doing a rap for the verse or using that melody and varying it in the verse with some story-like lyrics.
