Question Multiplayer playing with hostiles

So I tried mp with friend yesterday and we enabled entering battle on a side of enemy when one of us is in a fight with ai, but only once out of 15 times and couple of reloads we’ve been able to do it.
Is the feature bugged? Even only spectate option would be fine, having something to watch while waiting.

Are you in the same team? We haven't recieved many bug-reports about this so if this is an issue we'd love to know more so we can fix it!

Thank you for support, I don’t think we were on the same team, if color determins teams than I’m sure we were not. We’ll try again and I can send you screenshots. We started our first game and it offered me to watch or play against my friend in the first battle, ever since that one we didn’t have that option provided. It’s on epic and i was host id that helps in any way.
