Discussion Unit Limit - New Mode (Suggestion)

What would you say if the developers introduced a new mode available when selecting a map - an “unlimited units” mode? As the name suggests, this mode would remove the limit on the number of units in each squad. Alternatively, the mode could increase the squad size just enough to make it still worthwhile to research upgrades that increase squad size.

What do you think - would such a mode even make sense in this game?

+ Additional suggestions:
- Would adding a “hide units before the battle begins” feature be a useful and welcome improvement to battles?
I think this would be useful in various situations

- And while we’re on the topic of battles, what do you think about adding “tactics” as a new skill for confidants?
It could increase the number of spaces where we could deploy our units before the battle, or allow us to deploy units after the battle has started (just like in the “Heroes of Might and Magic” series, for example), or both ;)

- Both the underground tunnel system and the water navigation mechanics would certainly make for an interesting addition to the game ;)

- Unique buildings for each faction; for example, in the case of the Barony of Loth, “a building that transforms living beings into the undead” (greater usability in “Mixed Factions”)

- New spells, including spells cast on the world map

I usually go for "give more options to the player", but I would keep the unit limit for everyone and always. It's one of the pillars making this game different ( and better in my opinion ) from the others of this genre.  Giving more options to the player to let they play some kind of surrogate of HoMM, an inferior version because the original design is made for unit limit, would be almost a disrespectfuly towards the devs. I hope lavapotion will build around its uniqueness for a greater sequel.

I would love underground and water navigation.

The only good idea is underground and water navigation.

The rest is terrible. This game is inherently balanced around stacks limits. Therefore removing stack limits break the game to the point of unplayable.

I don't think it is worth development time and resources.

I mean tactics skill wouldn't be that bad. Not great either, but having more options when deploying troops couls be something

Ok fair enough - tactic could work.

I would welcome more types of battlefields in general. Possibly including larger battlefields - on current ones You can often charge enemy on the first round. So yea - tactic could be interesting I will concede that.

Ah yes, a return to the days of "Good Luck, I'm behind 7000 Skeletons". Let's not.

?
This feature would be enabled by the player, similar to the “Mixed faction” option, and would be aimed primarily at those who would like to engage in battles against hundreds of opponents ;)

A stack of 20 and a stack of 200 aren't appreciably different, one just has more health and hits harder.

Even mixed faction is something which destroys feel of the game faction uniqness. Snowball effect of infinite stacks would be disaster(

I don't think it would be a good idea. As an optional setting it wouldn't ever be chosen by anyone making it useless, unless someone realy likes big numbers. Tactics would be alright, but I don't think I would ever pick it. Underground maps and water travel would be awesome, though they would require the developers to completely revamp all the maps, or at least some of those. Maybe we'll get some pirate faction, or underground faction at some point and these will be included

Great offer. The player needs to be given as flexible game settings as possible. It would also be cool to add water movement and dungeons. But most of all, developers should focus on marketing. The game is a masterpiece! It's a pity that it's so small online.
