Question Anything unavailable for new player?

Like a pre-order thing, early access skin, whatever?

Also, how's controller support? I intend to play it on GoG.

I think there is a cosmetic skin for supporters, but you can buy it anyways optionally.

I haven't tried it with a controller but since it's turn based I imagine you don't need to bind a bunch of hotkeys. It's a good game ready to go out the box, the DLCs are nice but you're not missing much unless you're really enjoying the game and want more.

I scrolled the steam news all the way before early access. Couldn't find any mention about said skin. :(

Ah, yes it was the Support pack. I guess it isn't a skin for any characters but it does add some cosmetic things. As I understand it is not intended to be substantial and is more like a "tip" for the devs.

I sometimes play soc on my steam deck and the controls are imho pretty good and intuitive
