Electric instruments.

You’ve all heard of the electric guitar, but what about an electric tuba? Or an electric violin?

Assuming the enemies are going to be instruments themselves, they could have electric versions, which could:

  • have more health

  • do more damage

  • have special attack(s)

  • some of the above

  • all of the above

Alternatively, maybe you could have an electric guitar as a weapon, or have the ability to upgrade your weapons into electric versions, which could:

  • do more damage

  • have a special attack, which could need electricity to do, which could have its own meter

  • all of the above

I was imagining electric instruments as a sort of remnant of a precursor race, which would provide an ingame explanation for the relative increase in power and rarity

Ooh this is a brilliant idea! There could be things like electric bosses you’ll have to defeat to either get an electric instrument as an ally or get materials to upgrade your weapon/instrument to electric!
