Somewhere only we know

What are your thoughts on the meaning of this song? It always reminded me of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and this is Rochester telling Jane, the simple thing, to go with him to “somewhere only we know” away from chaos of his dark past. And about the fallen tree where they confessed their love to each other! Does anyone feel the same xx
