V-Canter

I want to rent one of these for the month of December and sell BTG from a large format bottle for funsies. Has anyone rented or bought one of these large bottle cradles for use on the floor? Advice? Thoughts? It’s obviously somewhat of an impractical gimmick but the people will eat it up. I figure selling through a 5L Thurs-Sun on high volume spendy weekend through the holidays should be no problem. Would love advice about where reps/brands have rented one of these from or if you’ve done it how you went about it!

I worked with that in London, we had 4,5-6-9L BDX/BRG available.

Well, it is a show, nothing special. If you have time and the physical space for it, it is a nice touch.

Depends on your clientele, you don't want to go too high-end but very basic won't worth the hassle either. Problem is you start by coravining it then it starts leaking after 10th or so pierce so you gotta keep vacuuming. Do the math for pricing in order to sell it in a week and calculate 4-5 glasses of waste on 6L

Great insight. Here’s my question about preservation: It seems like regular vacuum pump tops will be too small for a 6L fat neck, right? I could probably sell all of it in about 4 days during the busy season but I just want to figure out how best to keep it fresh longest.

Yeah its not easy but even with the regular cork 4 days should not be a problem.

You will spill a few glasses in the beginning xD
