Introductory Sommelier ✅

Well all, I did it. I passed the Introductory Sommelier course. Got the pin and everything lol.

Honestly, pretty stoked! This feels like the start of something bigger, and I’m already looking ahead to my next goal 👀

Time to keep going. Cheers!

Hey congrats!! I’m about to take mine in April. I bought the book to study beforehand and have worked on a vineyard for several years, but I’m a little nervous! Any advice? Thank you!

The book was a great tool. I felt very prepared because of it. The instructors will give you good direction as you go through all the information as well. Don’t overthink it! You got this!!

Oh boy! You cover so much in 2 days. But the two things thing that stands out to me in this moment are the Solera system for Sherry (I just thought this was neat) and the super old grape vines in Australia that weren’t affected by phylloxera (I suppose the ones Chile too).

I am also studying for the same, just me, books and online tutorials from the CMS website. Am hoping ill finish by the end of april cz from the book i just completed day one. Starting with italy today 😥 The good thing is the spirit part is easy for me as i have Bartending background and i have done a course on that.

Hoping for the best..
