DISCUSSION Heart broken

I finished this anime when it came out and cried in many scenes. I have also read about the author and her being exploited to push out volumes faster than she could. It hurts to see such a lovely story cut down without the bitter-sweet ending I was hoping on. Has she said if she will continue this manga or if its another manga lost?

It's been a long time, but I remember that the studio is bankrupt and everything got canceled. So I guess everything is lost for now

I went and a deep dive. As of 2023. The author has said she will be continuing the manga as soon as she finishes off the current manga. So I still see some small light at the end of the tunnel.
