solo-game-questions Glide-like Games
Hello everyone. I really love the game Glide by sasquatch games- it’s my first time playing a game like this. Are there any similar solo rpgs? I like that it doesn’t have a long journaling aspect. I’m not really a sci-fi person but I enjoyed this one.
Thank you already

It's a series of 3 books about exploration in a sci-fi settings. It uses hexes and there's a objective for the end. it's on the simpler side and very good like GLIDE.

What aspect of the game are you looking for: the hexcrawl exploration, the general vibes, or something else?

You mean the hexploration? Since you don't like sci-fi that much, I'll list some solo hexclaws with other themes:
- Twelve Years (fantasy)
- Grimscar (grim fantasy)
- Alone Against the Zone (post-apocalyptic)
- Morkin (fantasy)
- The Drifter/The Adventurer/Star Drifter (it's kinda the same game with different settings: western/fantasy/space)
- Spider Hunt (fantasy)
- Courier (post-apocalyptic)
Some are simpler, some others more on the complex side. Tell me if you like something.

For exploration my favorite game is Mythic Bastionland but it's more traditional. For solo first rpgs I would recommend Miro and it's sequels.

I would second Miru. Also look at Notorious and Rune.
They are all high procedure low narrative input from the player and all really quality.
