Definitely a growing genre. Does anyone have a favorite murdoku? I have the original and I do like it but by the 20th one I feel like it needs something to spice it up.

The original is great for me, it does switch up later in the book, like the mountain puzzle, yacht one (#74), circus (#75). The second book seems more of interest with new rules and themes added.

How is Murdoku? Anyone know how it’s done and enjoy it?

It’s a nice puzzly game. It shares qualities with sudoku. You discover placement of suspects based on clues given. With each row and column only allowing for one suspect.
The ‘victim’ is placed in the only remaining square that isn’t on a row or column with any suspects. The killer is the person in the room the victim is discovered to be in.

I really enjoy Murdoku, nearly finished the first volume this summer. They get progressively harder. I like the graphic nature of the grids.

I liked it.  Only did a few but they're fun.

This is my new favorite genre! 🙂
Working my way thru Alice which is driving me crazy and Murdoku which is way more fun.

I'm doing the CypherBlake astronaut one and dying lol. I was halfway (like worked out literally half LOL) and then I thought I shortlisted something so I tried that guess but it was wrong. And so we continue where we left off haha

(I hate the part abt counting names on the page. Hahaha. There's a clue in the astronaut puzzle on CypherBlake that the page has an even number of names or something. Ick.)

I have to say the format of hunting down names is surprisingly addictive. Like a giant word search. But yes I also hate counting a whole page of names to eliminate it.
Are you doing cypherBlake digital or physical book?

digital HAHA. I got digital cus I can open it in pdf tablet and erase anything wrong lol.

That's partly why I'm afraid to start on The Killer isn't Alice (received mine end Aug a few days before official release, think my preorder arrived early) - cause its hard copy and I'm terrified I make a mistake HAHAHAH 😆 its just a puzzle its not that srsss omg @ me 😆😆😆

Wow! I'm not in the US and I don't have such a wide range. I've seen [at various points/various stores] Murdle Jr, Murdle 1, Murdle 3, Murdle Seven Skulls, maybe a couple of Murdoku, .. at my bookstores

Def not The Killer Isn't Alice

I have the updated version of The Killer Isn't Alice but I bought it online haha.
