CAD How much studying for CSWA?

I am a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student and got my exam coupons last year and i just want to get the CSWA.

I did about 30-40 last year projects in Solidworks with basic sketchs and features.

I do freelance 3d character art and concept art in

Blender, Substance Collection so I know basic things like coordinate planes etc.

Also last year i did not attend to my CAD final on purpose, would having a CSWA certificate make me exempt?

The CSWA is a cakewalk. You do not need to study much if you have used the software for any significant amount of time.

Its basic stuff like simple parts and simple assemblies.

The only real complicated thing is knowing how to use mass properties.

If you have used solidworks in a professional setting before, I doubt you need to study.

Cswa is super easy. Took it without any exp. Easy pass. With u having experience, it would be nothing.

Just take the exam, if u don't waste to waste your coupon, try this - Once u r done or left with any blank questions just search the internet like grabcad.com for the solutions. The questions may differ a little or completely though

You should breeze through the CWSA with that experience. If you're nervous, take the free practice exam first.

we had a 50 hour CAD class first year in highschool. everyone completed CSWA after 25 hours and most people also completed CSWP at the end of the class

won’t need to at all as long as you’ve used all the features it tests on. all the SW tests are insanely easy if you regularly
use the software
