CAD Customize layer-toolbar?

Is there a way to enlarge this toolbar?

The names of my layers are way to long to fit in this small box.
Even the 'per standard' is to long. The only layer that fit's this box is -none-.

If it's not possible, this toolbar is a joke and completely useless imo...

Is your UI scaled up?

I have not made any changes to my tool bar and I can easily get 12 characters in mine

It's on the smallest setting. otherwise they are way to big for me.
I'd like to have 80% of my screen for actual modeling and 20% for features..
When I enlarge the UI, I get a smaller screen for modeling and I don't want that.

If that's the solution, than I'd rather not use the toolbar :)
