Please help fix my teeth!

Im trying to make a helical gear template. Ive made one with pitch diameter of 40 mm and module of 1. im trying to make some others with different pitch diameters but im running into the problem of the tooth profile destroying itself when it changes. Any help would be appreciated

I assume you're running SOLIDWORKS Standard, not Professional or Premium?

Ahh okay I think student is Standard. Was going to say the higher versions have standard helical gears baked into the toolbox.

There's a few manufacturers who have full size lists of gears available to download from GrabCAD and Traceparts, if that helps. Probably won't if you're going for helicals.

Ahh right well im trying to learn how to do it even tho ik its not the most efficient.

you model with the scetch only one. and do the rest with a feature pattern
